How Tiny Desk AI handles account information, portraits, generation tasks and support requests.
Last updated:
Your selected photo
Selecting a portrait creates a local preview. The generator saves a copy in this browser's IndexedDB so it can be restored during a sign-in trip in the same tab. The draft can be restored for one hour. Expired drafts are removed when the generator next checks saved drafts. Removing the photo or successfully starting a task clears the saved draft. You can also remove it by clearing this site's browser data.
A tab identifier and the current task reference may be stored in session storage. A saved portrait associated with a signed-in account is not restored into another account. You must confirm permission to use the photo when continuing with a restored draft.
Accounts and sessions
If you create an account, we process the account details and session information needed to sign you in and show your tasks. If a sign-in provider or account email feature is available and you choose it, the information needed for that action is processed by the configured provider.
Keep your sign-in details private. Use the same account to return to your videos.
Uploads, generation and videos
When you start an available generation task, the selected portrait is uploaded for processing. We keep a task record, its status and the files needed to complete and deliver the video. Access to uploaded portraits and finished videos requires the owning account; they are not placed in a public gallery by default.
For video generation, the processing provider receives the portrait reference and instructions needed to make the performance. The current integration uses SeeAPI; its handling of files and task records is described in the SeeAPI data handling policy. Expiring a link or removing a file from our storage does not remove a copy that a processing provider has already received.
SeeAPI currently lists no scheduled automatic expiry for stored input files, generated output files, task information or moderation results. Its API request records and logs have a 60-day retention period. Requests to remove those records must go through SeeAPI support.
Uploaded portraits and intermediate video segments are temporary processing files. Completed videos are saved for access through My Videos. Contact support to request removal of a photo, completed video or account. Account and task records do not have a published fixed retention period; records needed to investigate a task or meet an applicable obligation may need to be retained.
Analytics and your cookie choice
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, traffic sources and actions such as playing a sample, selecting a photo, starting generation, completing a purchase and downloading a video. Microsoft Clarity helps us review clicks, scrolling and session recordings on public product pages.
These tools load only after you accept analytics cookies. You can change or withdraw your choice through Cookie settings in the footer. Declining or withdrawing consent stops further optional analytics collection.
Our server sends conversion events to Google Analytics only for visits that accepted analytics and were linked to the relevant task or purchase. These events use pseudonymous visit identifiers and limited event details, such as a confirmed payment amount, currency or task outcome. We do not send email addresses, original photos, full prompts or private media URLs as analytics event properties.
We apply Clarity masking to photos, selected file names, private video areas and input fields. Marked internal visits, configured staff and test accounts, local previews and administrator pages are excluded from external analytics. Clarity does not record sign-in, account or private-result pages.
Google Analytics user and event data is set to a 14-month retention period. Aggregated reports may remain available longer. See Google Analytics privacy information and Microsoft Clarity privacy information.
Service records
We keep account, order, credit and task records to fulfill purchases, deliver videos, prevent duplicate charges and investigate service problems. These records can include task status, timing, credit use or returns, payment status and support history. These operational records are kept separately from optional analytics.
Payments and support messages
PayPal processes checkout payments and the payment details you enter there. We store order references, payment status, purchased video credits and refund records to fulfill purchases and handle billing questions. We do not store complete payment-card numbers. See PayPal's privacy statement.
If you email support, we receive the contact details and information you include in your message. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details.
Your requests
For access, correction or deletion requests, account closure, privacy questions or content reports, email sunxiangce@gmail.com. Include the account email and relevant task ID where available. We may need to confirm account ownership before disclosing or changing private information. A request to remove provider-held material may also require action through that provider.
See the service terms and support page for related information. Material changes to this policy will be shown with an updated date.
